A magnificent
landscape rose which is very dramatic when in full bloom. Ivory colored
buds open pure white and full. The flowers are tiny and appear in
clusters of 3-5. Flowering is so profuse that it is difficult to see
the foliage when in full bloom.
A fast
grower, Alba Meidiland is an excellent choice for slopes
where it can cascade freely. It could also be effectively used as
a barrier hedge because it is quite dense and thorny. It spreads rapidly
by suckers so select your location wisely. The rootings are very easy
to transplant and share with friends. Very disease resistant - a vigorous
performer. Highly recommended (see also Scarlet
Meidiland).
