Balloon Flower (Platycodon grandiflorus) Pronunciation

Size - 2-3 ft. (some shorter varieties are also available)
Exposure - Full sun, light shade
Culture - Average loamy soil is best. Best used in borders along with other flowering perennials. Plants may take several years to get established so you might want to mark the spot where you plant them. Another reason to do this is because they go completely dormant in the fall. Stems are usually long and lanky - staking is advised.
