Hemerocallis (Daylily)

Hardy to Zone 4
Bloom Time - June and throughout summer
Color - All colors except blue and pure white
Foliage
- Grass like blades
Size - 2-4 ft.(some varities higher)
Exposure - Full sun, light shade. Softer colors benefit from light shade.
Culture - The daylily is one of the easiest perennials to grow. They are not fussy about soil and can survive drought and prolonged wet periods. Plant them with the crown just below soil level. They need to be divided about every 3 years. Deadheading will keep them looking neat, although it is not necessary.
