I am a self-confessed passionate gardener - if I'm not working in mine, I'm visiting others or reading about them.. And I am constantly learning. The purpose of my site is to help share the knowledge of plants and gardening to others, especially those living here in the Southeast.

Location: Florence, Alabama
Climate: Mild winters, hot and humid summers,
pleasant spring and fall
Size: 3/4 acre
Plants: All kinds, but mainly old roses, camellias, perennials, trees and native shrubs
Wildlife: Birds, squirrels, raccoons, possums, and 1 cat
Hours spent maintaining my garden: Not enough!
