A beautiful
rose but one that is highly prone to black spot, I have since shovel
pruned it. Although truly lovely while in spring bloom, this rose
always succumbs to a severe case of blackspot immediately afterwards.
And for the remainder of the long hot summer, she is not a pleasant
sight to look at.
Large
clusters of semi-double pink blossoms open flat and seem to have an
inner glow. The bush grows upright with an arching habit. Repeat bloom
is good throughout the summer and fall.
