Bought
on a whim, mostly because I liked the name, I planted this rose and
didn't pay much attention to it until it bloomed the following year.
In full bloom, it can be an eye catcher, with massive clusters of
single snow white blooms covering the entire bush. It is a low grower
and works nicely at the front of a border. As summer progresses, the
plant always invites a fungal disease and usually languishes for the
remainder of the year, often completely defoliated. However, it always
returns vigorously the next spring with an another outstanding floral
display. Recommended with caution, purchase only if you don't mind
the scraggly appearance in late summer or are willing to use the sprayer.
