I have always been fascinated with dolls and I collected Barbie for years before discovering Gene. However, there is a new love in my life - the FASHION ROYALTY girls. I learned to sew while quite young and I enjoy the challenge of creating clothes for these small figures. Designing for these dolls has been a rewarding experience. Gene, especially, is the epitome of beauty and glamour from the silver screen era that I love so much and her figure is a doll designer's dream. Barbie was a challenge with her bust to waist ratio. The FASHION ROYALTY dolls are the perfect models with their buxom figures.

I hope you enjoy my designs as much as I have enjoyed creating them. My designs are always new to me. They are never quite what I start out with. Each new design comes into my head in one form then I translate it into fabric (never on the first try). My sewing is my relaxation. As soon as I sit down at my machine all my stress seems to vanish. I make every piece as if it were going to stay in my collection. If there is the smallest part of the design I am not satisfied with it is discarded and I start over. I hope you can see what I feel when a new ensemble is completed.
