The Name of the Rose - Named after the German city.

This rose has a strong floribunda heritage and displays more of the characteristics of a floribunda than a hybrid musk. Most hybrid musks appreciate some shade but 'Nymphenburg' needs lots of sun to look good. I first grew it in a shadier location thinking that since it was a hybrid musk, it could handle it. I was wrong and it languished there, rarely blooming, putting out spindly growth and developing blackspot. I have since moved it to a sunnier spot.

Beautiful, fragrant soft pink blossoms adorn a bush that is upright in growth. The flowers have a loose form and their color fades as they age. Bright gold stamens accentuate the center of the flowers.
