'Vanity' quickly got out of bounds in my garden and is now hopelessly intermingled with 'Alba Meidiland'. It is a vigorous growing rose with a very lax habit. It would be a good choice for a low fence or a large area where it could be isolated. The blooms are a shocking pink that dramatically stand out, therefore making it a difficult rose to integrate with color schemes. Left to its' own devices, it will sprawl all over the place and, since it is not a dense plant, you might want to grow something else with it to fill in.

The blooms are charming, single with wavy petals. The color could be described as fuchsia or shocking pink and they fade with age. Orange hips follow in the fall.
